Hi all, Is it possible to have the window symbol (hexagon, like you see in elevation/section views) show up in the actual window schedule. Everyone I know including my current company does it in this manner, and so far I've had no luck getting Revit to do it. Thanks, Alan

Are you talking about a graphic window schedule? you would need to create a symbol for placing in the legend view in order to tag them... As these views are not windows themselves that can be associated with somewhere in the model and are just a snapshot.

Yes, the grapic symbol. Is there a way to do this? I understand that the schedule is a snap shot of the windows in the modle, but it would be great to have it show up like every other dare I say it AutoCAD dwaring I've even seem or created.

Well being that AutoCAD is unintelligent data its not a problem to do that. It's simple to create the new generic annotation->symbol that mimics your door/window tags. Then simply place in your graphic schedule and number as required. Unfortunately the numbering will be dumb, but the legend components will adjust luckily. HTH.

Hi Spot,

What quileer asked was about the annotation symbol. But how can we have the cut-plan and the elevation of the window shown along with the details as a table format schedule? Is is possible with Revit,? It is possible with ArchiCAD
