Sorry ignore my other thread, i figured it out up to this point.  But one last part is to have the reference plane angle rotate at certain times in the model. This is due to the component as a solar panel, so for example: 35 degrees at 10 am 50 degrees at 1pm... etc. How do i do this?? Thank you so much!!!!

Use "Reference Lines" and create a angular dimension, then convert that dim. to a parameter.... the rest i think you already know....

This can not be done automatically.  You will need to set this as a type parameter in the family that would enable you to change it globally.
