Every Structural Model we link is showing analysis lines or circles, especially with columns and there is no way to turn them off. I have overidden eveything but the actual members from the revit model with no success. The suggestion to turn the linked GV settings to: model to custom, linked view to none, view range to by host, does nothing as well. This question has been asked over and over but non of the propossed solutions seem to be working. These lines are bold colorful lines that print as bold colorful lines. Since we are having problems with mutiple engineers I can only assume the problem is ours, but the hours I have spent addressing the problem has led to no solutions. One solution I do have is to turn all the structural member in the linked model off and then redraw the structure in every view but then I might as well ink my drawings while I am at it.

Okay, what you need to do is go to VG, then object styles, and you should see a new tab called "revit Links" which doesn't exist in projects without linked revit models, from structural, or mechanical. So, under this tab, you'll see a linked model, and if you go to "custon" under display settings, you'll see a whole new set of elements within that linked model which you can control. From here, you can turn off structural-specific annotations.

Its like its mislabled in the structural model as a actual framing column component and not an analysis line.

Did you also check the box at the bottom of Object Styles that says "Show Categories from all disciplines?" Because this makes a plethora of rather obscure options available to deselect, and within these might be what you're searching for.

Sorry, I'm confusing myself, even. I get lost after the 4th or 5th tier of menus... I meant at the bottom of the model or annotation categories in the revit links display settings. Not the object styles window.

Well done, much appreciated. I am sure we will get a good low bid now.
