REVIT 2010 Is there a way for a single void to cut an arrayed Sweep? So that no matter what the array number is, the pieces of the arrayed sweep which intersect with the void, will be cut.

Interesting concept but I doubt you can make it work ... you did try, right? If not thentry it and describe what you have done. I believe an array is made after the object is defined and therefore the object needs to be cut first - not what you are after.

haha, yes i did try. I just thought maybe i was missing something. I created my void first then my sweep. With the sweep and the void intersecting, i can then cut the sweep. but once i array the sweep, so that the arrayed objects intersect the void, the source sweep remains cut but the subsequent array (arraii?) do not get cut. Though each of the individual pieces of the array can then be cut...individually. Which i dont want, because it is to be in a family. My next thought was then to cut the source sweep of the array, after i array, rather than before i array. the subsequent objects of the array still do not get cut by the void. As you said would happen WWHub. Isnt the idea of Group edit meant to be that when the source object gets cut, the subsequent array will match it?
