Please make the annotative side of Revit more intelligent.

Please give my filters and color schemes the ability to reference model patterns.

Please allow detail patterns the ability to have their boundary act as a host so they can actually rotate with their boundaries.

I find that some of the stuff we have to settle for is just asinine

Also Revit PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, make your text in labels adjustable to the scale of the view you are in... it is crazy that the model changes auto, so why cant the text.. it is freaking annoying to go from a half inch view to an 1/8" view and all you see is OVEN, HVAC, etc etc etc... they should be able to scale as well... asinine

Mdotch - I could not agree with you any less.  I think you are absolutly wrong.

The great thing about Revit is that annotations don't scale with the view.  That was what was always absurd about CAD.  Text is text and I want it always to be the legible size that I set it at, no matter the scale of the model view.  If you want something to scale, make it in a scalable entity.

what do you mean by "all you see is OVEN, HVAC, etc, etc, etc...."" didn't you see the same thing at a 1/2" view.

text does scale when you change the view. it only reports the printed text height in the properties. but Revit actually changes the size of the text so that when printed at the current view scale it comes out at the printed height set in the properties.
