Revit Structure: Some objects seam to only give me the options to lock them to the grid or gridlines or whatever, only on placement. In my case, one object type would be the beam being locked to the gridlines. If I do not take my chace at the time of placement I can never get the lock options back to either lock it or unlock it. Am I missing something?
thanks,

You can use the align tool to lock the elements to what you require, this is essential all the automatic locks are doing at placement. I prefer the align tool method as you can be sure exactly what the element is being locked to.

Is there a way to unlock them later? I think I have figured this out, is working for me any way. When I go to move the wall I click the disjoin and uncheck the constrain buttons.
