Hi ive been looking round trying to search how to come up with a good render appearence for external timber cladding, a friend of mine shown me an example of his render which looks just what i want but he can not remember the combination.

Im trying to mix timber materials with the siding bump patteren but can not find a good combination ie sizes or material type and my render is looking very repettertive and i also can not get the bump lines to come through black they are looking very pale grey ish, could anyone help me solve this and show a good external timber caldding board render finish?
