Hi, I'm trying to dimension 3D views in 2010. The dimensions are working although they are not on the desired work plane. In 2009 there was an option on the menu bar to select the work plane of a 3D dimension - I can't find this in the ribbon or in the new 2010 help menu. Does anyone know how to change the work plane - or if this can still be done in 2010? Thanks

Hi watta, take a look on revitkid.com. There are a lot of video tutorials, and especially one for dimensioning in 3d. Best regards Volkmar

Thanks Volkmar I found the tutorial which showed where the set work plane option was. For anyone reading this post in future - it's under home/work plane in the ribbon menu - it doesn't automatically appear in the dimensions ribbon while dimensioning.
