Dear all When I typed  r* in family and conceptual mass mode, the rendering symbol didn't come out. How can I render in Family mode? Does anyone know what we can do in *project mode*, but can't do in *family mode*? Or what we can do in *family mode*, but can't do in *project mode* ? I am pretty confused about their differences. Thank you very much......:-)

No, Mental Ray rendering in Revit is not available in the family editor. Open a new project file & load into it your family.

Ahhhhh..... What a strange design for Revit. Thank you for your answer, Erland73......:-) Do you know how many things can be done in Project mode, but can not be done in Family mode? For example,rendering. Thank you Have a nice day
