When I got to edit my revisions on sheet I want to uncheck all previous issues, however one of my issues is checked and 'greyed out' so I am unable to uncheck it. How do I sort this out? Bascially I want to remove all previous preliminary alpahbet issues and create a new numerical FIRST issue however cannot figure out how to work around the 'grey out box'. In my sheet composition the previous 'issued' items are unchecked? Any tips?

hmmm re-read my post re-written below hopefully makes more sense? Using 2010 and my sheet contains revisions I want to get remove from the titleblcok. But when I go to my sheet and 'view properties' and edit 'revision on sheet' some of my issues are greyed out so I cannot uncheck and remove them. How do I sort this out and uncheck the greyed out box? Under my view tab and sheet composition 'sheet issues/revisison' area I have numbering per sheet and none of my 'issued' check boxed are ticked. Any tips?

ok figured out a work around, just removed all information relating to that issue from the sheet composition area (as that wasn't greyed out) and now it shows up as a blank item on my titleblock. Still greyed out for some reason on my sheets view properties, but that doesn't matter now as the revsion info has all been deleted.

I'm a little excied to actually be able to answer this question, after so long just reading other peoples answers.
The box is checked and greyed out because there are clouds assigned to that revision in one of the views on that sheet.
Go into your revisions and make sure it shows clouds and tags for the revision you want to uncheck. You will need to erase those clouds to be able to uncheck that revision on the sheet.

I found that it wasn't necessary to delete the existing clouds.
I clicked on the cloud then was able to (in the properties window) change the revision it was associated with.
Once I did that it auto added the correct revision and removed the old.

I am having the same problem, however I have no revision clouds in my view. They are turned on in the view template and when I select everything and filter, there's no revision clouds. I also tried the light bulb in case they were hidden in view, selected all and filter to no avail. Any ideas?

That's what I'm getting with one revision out of 20, when I open my 'revisions in sheet'. I need to untick it, but can't as it is greyed out. There are no revision clouds on the view or sheet. Any other reason it would be greyed out?

I know this is an old thread but it might help others anyway: you need to activate the revision (if it has been issued) and then see if category Revision Clouds are hidden in the viewport, you then need to hide element on the revision clouds that are hidden by category instead, this will remove the revision from the sheet.

I've looked practically everywhere and this is the only "correct" answer I found, thank you
