Sorry if this is an overpost, I tried searching and nothing I thought to search for came up. Is there a way to move the {3D} view inside a building? or convert a camera to a parallel view. I want to be able to paint walls and modify some objects from the 3D view instead of having to cut sections and take interior elevations of every wall, ceiling, etc. I would like to be able to fly around inside the building and tweak things so make sure they are represented correctly. Maybe I'm missing some technique completely. Let me know how you guys apply finish materials.

You can not modify objects from a tue 3D view. You can place a camera anywhere. Try using scope boxes and axionmetric 3D views.

Duplicate your 3D and go to the view properties and click on 'section box' using the section box you can isolate the room you want and spin it, paint it etc or go into 3D highlight the elements you want and press isolate elements
