I don't know if there is anything earlier written on this, but we are working on a project directly for a contractor.  They are asking us to model the pipe hangers and rods for all the piping systems.  It will be for Revit MEP 2010 and I was wondering what the easiest way to do this would be or if there are any tutorials on this already to make the family.  I'm thinking it will be a family attached to the pipe and then can be stretched and or attached to the ceiling or joist above.  I am relatively new to Revit MEP so any help on this is much appreciated from anyone out there!
