2010

I am currently putting a few detail elements in my building sections, filled regions, masking regions, detail components, etc.  My building sections are 1/4" - 1/8" scale.  I then put in a call out for a detailed wall section, to up the scale, tyically 3/4", detail, and annotations.  When I open my call out all of the detail components and regions are gone.  Is there a way to make them not view specific so they show up in detailed call outs and I do not have to do it all twice.  I basically want to do it like in AutoCAD where you draw your sections.  Then blow up the detail and annotate for detailed sections.  You are only drawing it once.  You are just showing it multiple times at different scales.

Detail elements and annotaions are view specific... but this is no problem.  Window the origional and filter it for these elements... copy to clipboard - switch views and paste same place.. done.
