I am currently running a rendering on best quality and its made it to 50% in about 9 hours and now it has been at 63 percent for the past 7 hours. I am pretty sure it is still rendering because as few more of the squares have finished. Also the rendering is 8"x10" 150dpi set on Best. I have attached a copy of a lower quality rendering so you can see what I am working with. My computer specs are as follows: 6GB Ram Intel Xeon 2.33 Ghz Processore and a 512 MB 9600 GT Video Card with a 320 GB harddrive that is not even close to being full. So, I don't think that is the problem. I had the computer built by Xi Computers and it is cooled very well. If you have any ideas why it might be taking so long please let me know. Thanks, -Michael

Well, interior renders in Revit is a pain in the butt, and it's worse if you have many lights, reflections, curtain walls... I hope, in 2011 version, they correct/Improve this issue.

What people don't take into consideration for rendering are the materials. Materials can kill a rendering as bad or worse than complex lighting. The more complex the material the worse off Revit will be. - Bumb maps
- High Gloss
- Perforations or Cut-outs
All these things will really impact performance. Also, you have daylight portals which increase time significantly. Other items to consider: What is your opertating system? 64bit? Is your PC using a dual processor? What is your page file set to? You could try setting the priority a little higher for Revit...BUT DO NOT SET IT TO REAL TIME!!!! It will lock your computer by assigning all resources to REvit...your mouse will not even work. I would do this ONLY as a last resort....ONLY!
