Ok, before I get started, First post here froma total NOOB So please excuse any blatantly obvious questions!!

I am modelling some staitwells and lift shafts in precast and need to add a precast 'lid' panel to these shafts. Some are sloped tops to match the roof profile and this is where I am having troubles.

How do i draw these? As a floor? This was ok for flat panels but to match the rood rake, I have NO idea! I have ref. planes etc set for all the roof planes from setting out the steel and the top of panels are 'attatched' to these so as to rake.

 Any advice woudl be appreciated.

 Thanks,

 Ewan.

Why not just do them as a roof?  Easy to get the slope ...just define as one material.

Well, I managed to get it to work as a 'Floor'. I Just created a floor type for precast concrete slab and inserted it where needed.

The issue I was having was to put a fall (slope) on the 'floor'. The Slope Arrow was a new thing to me but i managed to find that, under the slope arrow's element properties, you can specify an angle. All I did then was set said angle and go into an elevation/section and move it to the right reference plane. Now i have a snazzy precast lid to my shafts and all is well Smile
