I am using Revit 2009 and....I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct spot, but I would like to use the 3d components that a particular company offers for revit and auto-cad....however the only way to GET the components is with an application called "i-drop" (by autodesk). This is a problem for me because, after wasting about an hour trying to dowload the program, I realized one of the requirements is an intel pentium processor...which I do not have. I tried saving the components to my desktop, but they save as .ds files. I'm not sure what that is, but I know that revit components are usually .rfa files. So that didn't work either... I'm extremely frustrated because the components are supposedly FOR revit, but I have no way of getting to them. I tried contacting the company to find out if there is any way they can send them to me in another format....but they are not open on the weekend. I'm just wondering if anyone here knows of any way around this....if there is ANY way to get the components without the i-drop application (other than making them myself, obviously....though with all the time I've wasted, it probably would have taken about as long!). I am not experienced with .ds files or 3d auto-cad, so if anyone knows anything about any of this and give me any bit of advice, I would greatly appreciate it! I am beyond frustrated about this right now.

Well, what you can do is tell us What components do you want and what "Company" offers those components, maybe some one have those components and can send to you...
