So in my Level 2 View, you can see the ghosted versions of my lights and walls from Level 1. Some friends even have furniture from Level 1 showing up ghosted like on their Level 2 View. How might we fix this?

Try checking in your View Properties for that view - You might have an Underlay parameter that is currently set to display Level 1, just change it back to None, and you should be good to go again.
