I am having an issue with turning off certain MEP elements in my RCP plan that i don't want to show. For some reason, when i go to the custom display settings in V/G under revit links, it seems that the only model and annotation categories that i can turn off are of the architectural model. Usually i would be able to adjust the categories as i saw fit....not this time though. Am i missing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am using Revit Architecture 2010 latest build) and the engineers are using Revit MEP 2010 (latest build).

To control the linked model elements, you need to goto VG - Revit Links, then pick the MEP file and if it is by Host View, you can change that to custom then open the VG for the link and change the settings there.

This is what i was refering to in my first thread. I have done this in the past without a problem, however, it seems as though when i go into the revit link, turn it to custom, and try to turn off elements, it's only refering to my model and not the mep model. See attached image.
