Hello, I am a student working on finishing my project. I am trying to render in color my floorplans/elevation. I am not able to change the paint color on the walls. How my I go about doing this? Any help would be appreciated. I am using the 2009 student version of Revit. Thank you, Joyce

If they are mostly one color, use that in the finish description of the walls. Otherwise, you will have to either split up your walls by finish color and create new wall types or you can split the face of your walls and pour on a different finish with the paint bucket.

select your wall, go to element properties, then go to "edit type" then "structure" edit) You'll see the makeup of your wall here, and in all likelihood, you've got six inches of gray default material. If you click <By Category>, you'll see a (...) appear in the same box, and if you click this, it lets you set what material the wall is. If you don't have many materials loaded into your project yet, you can always make more, by duplicating, and renaming, and changing the render appearance.
