I want to create a generic fire-rated stairwell for a three-story building. Is there a way to draw the risers so they essentially cross over the top of each other? When I try to draw it Revit tells me I can't use closed loops. Let me know if I'm not explaining this clearly.

If you are trying to create one stair that goes three flights, that will be a problem. Make it in separate flights, with separate landings, it will be much easier.

Well, I'm not trying to do all three floors at once. I have 20'-0" ceilings and I don't want to do half the risers in one run. I want to do a third of the risers in each run. And have one run of stair directly above another.
