Hello.
I have a really simple question. Is there any way to see a door frame in a plan view when using the door families included in Revit? If not, must I create my own door family to show the frame? Thanks.

Of course.
I believe the door families that come with revit are setup to display differently at different levels of detail... Try setting the view to medium or coarse detail level.
If it still doesn't display, you'll have to resort to editing the family, selecting the frame, going to visibilty and retick show in plan.

I tried changing the detail level and no frame appeared. I will have to build my own. Good practice I guess. Thanks for the info.
