The firm i work for is currently putting together a proposal for a rather large industrial project. The site is some 90ha in size which includes 25ha of industrial & 1ha of commercial space with the inclusion of a transport hub. Having not documented something of this size in Revit before can anyone offer advise, pros and cons of how to go about this? Specifically 1. Benefits of BIM/ Revit on a project this size... 2. Project Setup... 3. Hardware requirements... 4. Do's & Don'ts... Any advise or help would be appreciated.

BIM works well on all project sizes.

I think this project will want to be multiple projects that may or may not be linked together.  The site will want to be a seperate model linked into each building model as appropriate.  If these structures will share common details, determine early where these will reside and how you will reference them across multiple projects.

if you have not already done so. go AU 2009, there are presentations on large projects in Revit which might save you some headaches.
