I'm in the process of doing the tutorial "Modeling a Box Gider Bridge" from Autodesk Revit. I'm having troubles using the void extrusion command on a column. I get it to work in the family, but when I load it into the project, it cuts out my box girder which is shown in the rendering attached. I've tried doing the void extrusion from plan view, and froma side elevation. Nothing seems to working. Please help!

Maybe your void is too large, try locking it into the top of your family, or try making it without a void as a conecptual mass instead
