Does anyone know if there is a tool to create a steel/metal grid, or if there is an easy way of doing this? Using the bracing or framing tools just seems very tedious. I am trying to create a grid approx. 60' wide and about 30' tall compose of light guage steel tubes.

Hello, I'm not sure about a tool out there that does that, but you could create a generic model line based family and load the tube family...but if you don't have the time to do that you could use the array tool, then group them (vert. and horiz members) together. With array you have the option of grouping and constraining, so you would be able to stretch it, add more, etc. Not sure if that helps, but hope it does.
