Hello

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the best way to do an interior shadow/daylighting study?  I have tried cutting a section to study sun angles, but the revit sun doesn't seem to "see" the walls behind the cutline/view window. Thanks!

I have no idea if this will work but.....

Set up a 3D view height 2700, target elevation 0 and place it inside your room

Hopefully it'll be a 3d camera looking at your room in plan from ceiling height

Use that for your solar study (infact i'll test it now after posting this)

The view is a little crazy but it gives you the correct shadows

If you fill it with furniture you can assess where the light hits elements as opposed to how it hits the gound(I actually think i've stumbled on a pretty cool effect; will see if i can refine the perspective)
