Im trying to get the total weight of steel, can this be done?? thanks

If you edit your steel elements in edit family to include a weight setting, you can then put it into your schedule. Easiest way i imagine would be a volume paramater ' = (height x width) + (flange width x width)*2'weight (kg) '=voume x XYZ' you can then add weight (kg) as a column in your shedule

2'weight (kg) '=voume x XYZ' should be on a seperate line in my post, and a seperate parameter in your family
