I have already looked in the HELP but no use. I created a false Celing layout of 600 X 600 for the entire room and split Face of the false ceiling and applied material in the edge as Plaster Board. I am facing 2 problems 1. I am not able to modify the split face profile . i checked all the tabs its not lettin me modify the boundary of the split face. edit boundary is only letting me edit the ceiling profile. i tried to TAB n select the split face but no use. 2. In the material take OFF am gettin the area of the 600 x 600 as the entire area and the plasterboard Area. its not calculating the difference. I tried painting another material to the actual mineral fibre zone. Then it displayed the total and the split up. It is displaying some "Default" and entire area once and they by Celing Tile and then the Split up of the material.it ll be very difficult to work this way when there r so many rooms AM attaching the files for reference. Thanks!

You need to tab over the split line - not the edge of the ceiling. If you are doing material take-offs - you need to understand how Revit provides this information. Split areas are not removed from the base material so you have to remove that using excel or another program. It is far easier to have two ceilings.

Try this: select by crossing, go to the filter then check only "Split Face" then edit...

I tried Both before posting. I did Tab over the Split line - Not Working its selecting the ceiling only to edit boundary I did filter it. Again i was not able to edit the split face profile - Not Working its selecting the ceiling only to edit boundary even after filterin n isolating it I was doing separate celings only till i read this work around to do things fast for client presentations where i have to quickly change patterns in the celing n give cost implications side by side. Thanks .
