i need to use model lines to make a curved curtain wall system by line but the real UI won't let me use model lines and the detail lines don't seem to work for that.. so i open revit with the phoney ribbon and there is only curtain system by face and not curtain system by line like with the real UI.. what did they do to the phoney ribbon and curtain system by line?

i don't think you will find any double post if you read the questions.. the second question was about curtain wall properties and i got that answer- and this question is: with the ribbon there seems to only be curtain system by face and not curtain system by line like with the classic UI.. what did they do with the curtain system by line for the ribbon? is it there? where is it?

Like you can see by the image you have that option in 2010, in 2009 you select 2 lines or 2 edges to create that.. in 2010 it's a little different, you only select 1 line or edge, i prefer the OLD method (2009) but in this way we have a little more work to do....

if i may reiterate on the OP's question. is there a way to select 2 model lines (say from different levels), to blend the 2 edges together to create an irregular shaped curtain system. this curtain system by lines option was available with 2008, is there a way to do this with 2010? see attached image for an example. this image was done in 2008. i'd like to be able to do this in 2010. i don't think it was a very smart move if this option was removed from the new versions of revit.
