Revit is quite new to me and I'm having trouble bringing in coping stones to my model. I have them loaded into the project browser but can't find the location to load them into the model... do I need to be in a specfic view or am I missing something?

Thanks,

They should be loaded in as a 'family'If you look on the project browser under families there is a good chance you will find them under 'generic model'If not, open up the family and press 'category parameters' on the ribbonyou can check/set which family it would fall underSo you could set it as a generic model, or a category you feel would be easy to remember

thank you, it's there! I found out it's also a sweep which makes another conundrum, but at least I have a slight idea how that works!!

Coping stones are usually not a generic model but they could be a stand alone (parametric or not) family of the category you want.  Usually, they are created from a profile that is used to define a sweep.  When the profile is created, you have to assign it to the proper category of use in "catagories and parameters" in the profile family.
