I'm so having a hard time figuring out on how to create this roof. (please see attachments). What would be the best tool to use model this? FYI... the Architect don't have any roof plan yet, just elevations. I've tried the in-place family with no luck. I've tried the regular roof tool with no luck. I have not tried to use the floor tool yet to make it as a roof. Although i think the best way to do this is in-place family... i'm still having a hard time. Can anyone show me how to do this step by step? your help would be greatly appreciated. Please not the arching ridge - please ignore the diffent slope on the "front elevation" just make it one slope. thanks. Thanks, ~Allan

Use a mass family no model the roof profile, then create a roof by face. See the attached file.

jterrell.... how did you make that form in 2010? I'm having a hard time doing it. You mind telling me step by step on how to create that mass form? Thanks!

Typhoon... Thanks for the video man. I really appreciate that. That was cool... i was beating myself up trying to model it.... I was sketching the "arc ridge" to act as my path and was cteating the two end profiles. Thanks a lot for your help too.
