I am trying to load the default curtain wall single door (the one that came with revit) into my project.  I have loaded it from the door menu as well as the component menu and it refuses to show up in either one.  I've tried it on two different computers and have had no luck on either.  This is one of the last things I am missing for my project, so please help '-_-

Also, if anyone knows of a tutorial for door creation, and could direct me to it, I would really appreciate it.  I need to make a 14 ft tall sliding door.  Thanks in advance.

I am using Revit 2010 on a Windows 7 64-Bit system.

The curtain wall doors do not behave like regular doors.  They are instead a special type of curtain panel that schedules as a door.  To use the curtain door load it into your project, then select the curtain panel you wish to become a door and in the type selector change the curtain panel to the curtain door panel family.

That makes sense.

The problem now is that I can't seem to select the curtain panel I want.  I've divided it how I want with the grid system and added mullions around the area I'm putting the door into, but I can't seem to pick that specific panel.  Is there a trick to it?

The trick is: go with your mouse to the panel then use the "TAB" key to select what you want, tab, tab, tab, click several times until you find the panel...
