Hi, I am using Revit Architecture 2010 and have two levels that are no longer required ( Level 0 & 1). How do I delete them. They do not appear on elevation or section anywhere. Many Thanks in advance Beau

These levels may be outside your view range in the sectgion or elevation. Turn off view crop then expand your view - find them and delete them.

The Easiest way to delete an invisible level is to: 1) go to an elevation view where you can see all the levels that you want to keep in your project. 2) click any level and hit "SA" or right click and hit "Select all instances" in entire project. 3) Next while all the levels are highlighted, hold down the "Shift" key and deselect all the levels that you want to keep. 4) When all of the "Wanted" levels are deselected, hit the "Delete" key on the keyboard. THE END

If you can't see the level, then change your view so you see the level. There are many, many posts here on RC to tell you how to see levels that don't appear in the view you have.

OK,
I had a nagging little level that was casuing error messages in Metal Wood Framer that I had to dismiss countless times. The error was because it was the same elevation as another level with a different name. I came here and learned a lot, but I didn't see the whole solution I ended up using. The problem was that the graphical representation for my level was very short and the text appeared in a cluttered area of the section view so I couldn't find it.
1. Open a section
2. Click the button that says do not crop
3. If you see your level, great delete it
4. Create a new schedule, choose level, add some parameters like name, elevation
5. Tile the schedule and the section so you can see them at the same time, do not type WT while in the schedule or else you'll muck it up
6. Click the offending level in the schedule and it will select in the section so you can find it and delete it.
