I cut a section in 2 parts dividing the crop region. Where those 2 sections where cut I would line to show a cut line. When I draw the cut line over the crop region boundry line of course the lines disappear when the corp region is turned off. The attached detail shows the cut line circled that I would like to produce. The cut line has been pull down the wall of the detail. I need it to appear where the wall was cut. I'm new to revit. I'm using revit structure 2010.

What cut line did you use? The cut detail component cannot be outside the crop. The way to get around this is to add a masking region in the cut family on one side of the line that will cover the model. Look at the one in the Revit library.
