My firm is switching from ACAD to Revit. We are using standard details/sections from ACAD to compose standard detail sheet in Revit using drafting views. Of course, line weights and types do not match up with Revit because we have used a custom color based plot file. Is there a way to use something like a script file to change layer linetype color to adjust pen shots to correct the line weights Globally rather than individually for each CAD Import?

CAD imports are really going to bog you down so if you are really converting to REVIT, I suggest you turn these into Revit details ASAP.

with all due respect, WW ...

there are hundreds of firms with well-established detail libraries created in Autocad.  The blanket suggestion that a firm abandon their detail library and begin again is not a cost-effective approach.  Autodesk will need to provide a mechanism to assist in a quality import of these details.  It's about workflow ... and cash flow!

I am having the same issue Bob.  Did you find a resolution?
