I AM PRINTING TO ADOBE ACROBAT, AND REVIT SEEMS TO ADD A MARGIN AROUND THE BORDER. IN ACROBAT U HAVE THE ABILITY TO PRINT A FULL SIZE SHEET. (IM TRYING TO PRINT A E-SIZE SHEET "30x42" AND REVIT ADDS A MARGIN AROUND THE BORDER. IS THERE ANY WAY TO REMOVE THE MARGIN? I KNOW REVIT HAS A SIMPLE WINDOW PRINT DRIVER. BUT IF I CANT PRINT A SHEET FULL SIZE KINDA MAKES IT ALL A MOOT POINT, TO DO ALL THIS WORK WHEN CAN'T PRODUCE PROPERLY SCALED DWGS. CAN ANYBODY GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT?

I don't use PDF to print my drawings, only DWF but just a question: are you using a "Educational Version" of Revit?

Ok.. Couple of things: 1.) If your creating a E size sheet and revit it set to fit it will add the boarder automatically... make sure you have it scale to 100%... 2.) Also if it cutting the PDF to a smaller size and not to a full size E sheet you need to make sure you have the professional version of Acrobat. If you dont it will have those problems.. Since Professional and up have the ability to print to the large format. The standard version does not. Mike

THANKS, I FOUND MY PROBLEM. IN ACROBAT U CAN SET UP THE SHEET SIZES THAT IT WILL PRINT TO. MY "E" AND "E1" SIZES IN ACROBAT WERE INCORRECT (THEY WERE LARGER THAN NEED BE) SO REVIT DID EVERYTHING RIGHT I WAS PRINTING TO A BIGGER SHEET THAN I THOUGHT... DUH! ONCE I FIGURED THAT OUT, CORRECTED THE MISTAKE.IT PRINTER CORRECTLY. THANKS FOR THE REPLY.
