is there a way to search for a specific item?
I imported an autocad drawing into revit, inorder to overlay it.
That was a while ago, I forgot about it, and now I can't find it to delete it manually.
How can I find it to erase it?

ok, just remembered that I unloaded it. But the question stands.
Is there a "filter" type command in revit?

After you select the items, you can filter them by clicking on the filter icon. You can also select all instances of an item by highlighting it and right click to 'select all instances'. In addition you can go the the families section in your project browser, highlight a family name and right click to select all instances.
