Hi, I hope this is the right category to post this thread. I’m new to Revit when it comes to quantifications. I’m looking for a way to create more complicated IF statements. I’m curious to know if there are other IF statements than AND, OR and NOT. I want Revit to collect information when an attribute contains the letter F. For example, instead of this string… IF (Length = F1016, “Included”, “Not included”) …I want something like this: IF (Model CONTAINS F, “Included”, “Not included”) //Soderstrom

The HELP gives you all your possible functions and syntax. Search it with FORMULA. You will find that text functions are very limited and you can not do what you want. Something to wish for.
