I have placed doors in my walls, but I don't see the door jamb in plan. I also don't know how to modify the location within the wall (2:from edge, etc.
Can anyone help?

Ed,
The doors from the standard Revit library don't have any jambs, nor can you set back the door from the face of the wall for masonry conditions.
If you are new to Revit, the best thing is to find doors on this site and others that are more suited to you needs. This will take a bit of trial and error. One word of caution is to watch how the door families you download are created. Since there are no guidelines for creating door families you will find doors flipping orientation on you when you substitute doors depending on how and who created the family.
If you are ready to dive into the family editor, you can customize or create a door family that meets your needs.
As I have stated in previous posts, I would pay good money for a well thought out series of door families that meet the needs of both commercial and residential users of Revit. The serach on the fly method for families reduces the productivity gains of using Revit.

Tom:
Thank you very much for the help. Where can I buy a door family. I think I will buy a family, and then dissect it in the Family Editor to see how it is done. Does this make sense?
I am new to Revit, and I write the ADT books. Many of the concepts are similar to ADT, but I don't want to think in those terms; I want to speak straight Revitspeak when running Revit. I really like the program.

I doubt very much you would need to purchase such a door.
I've attached a door that has interchangable door panels and door hardware. Simple to recreate new panels load them in and switch to the new panel.
Its also setup using type catalogues (not uploaded), for all the various sizes available.
I've basically setup 6 different swing doors that can account for nearly every situation:
Steel frame, Single rebate - single and double doors
Steel frame, Double Rebate - single and double doors
Timber Frame - single and double doors
It really is best to limit the number of families you have in your library to only those that are very parametric.
HTH.
