Hello I am currently designing a mission style home and would like to know if there is a component for Clay Barrel Roof Tile. Not only for the Roof itself with varying color but for the Gables as well. Typically they half round the tile over the Gable end. Having this component would certainly enhance the model and give the client a much better feel of the outcome of the Design...... Please help.... Darrin

Do you really want to model all these element? If you are going to render this... I'll suggest you use an image of roof to apply to your roof surface... see link for texture. http://www.mayang.com/textures/

That's close..... Less cartoonish and a bit more realistic. It will be placed on the attached house.. I will continue searching.... Also, I would love to show it properly on the views... see attached in black and white with shadows.. It would definitely give the design more of a mission look... without it it seems a bit too modern..

Nice Work! I will give it a try..... Is there any way that I will be able to wrap the tile around the barge rafters at gable ends? Thank you.... Great Help

erland73: how did you cut the tiles that are near the ridge in sloped glazing??? what is the way to model them?When i make the sloepd glazing with the curtain panel, it just replaces the cut shape into glass panel ....
