Hey

I created a simple roof using the profile, I keep trying to do a vertical opening in it but everytime I click it my ribbon changes to modify and the "edit profile" tab never opens up.

Any idea what I may be doing wrong? Its a very simple roof, straight with a slope. Revit 2010

You create that roof by "Extrusion" right? it's very wierd because when you click in the roof you can "Edit Profile" and use the "Vertical Opening" in every view (Plan, 3D view, Elevation view).... You have also in the tab "Modify-Openings" that option like you can see in the images attached....

Perfect! completley forgot about that. The Modify roof tab didnt work, but the "Opening" tab in "modify" did. Thats weird tho, it only cancels itself in this one roof.
