RAC 2010 can i add the same parameter in allthe types within a family? can i edit that parameter for all typesat once?

Not sure what you are asking but here is an answer... If you have a shared parameter in a family, then this parameter will be assigned to evey type within that family. If you schedule that family and include that type, you can sort so all the types are in one line in the schedule. Change that parameter in the schedule and it changes the value for every instance/type used in the project. But only those used.
