It would be nice to have a little more control over browser organization, especially between different view types. It'd be great to be able to organize the plans by level without affecting, say, 3D views.

You can add addition parameters to views and use those to sort your browser. Read some of the similar threads below or do a search of the forums. Sort should be a good search word.

I know that, and I have done some of those things. It would still be great to have more/better options in the browser organization dialogue box.
