Hi, I'm having a couple of issues with detail components that are probably simple to fix but I can't figure out how... The first is that, when I make line-based detail components, the lines look a lot different in the family editor than they do in the project after I insert them. I'm viewing at the same scale in both cases so that's not the problem. The lines tend to look a lot thicker in the family editor view. The other problem (more of an annoyance really) is that every time I make a new detail component, or edit an existing one, I have to re-link to the Keynote file (in order to set the keynote parameters), as the path is never saved. Is there some way to set a general path that will always be remembered? Thanks in advance! C

Remember - the project always rules. The linestyle and lineweight for every line is set in the project and once set, it overrides anything loaded later. That means the first time you place something that has a new linetype, it is now set to whatever that object's settings are. You can manage this in the project under settings / object styles.
