Hi, can you help please? Is it possible to close a cavity internally on a wall comprising 102 Brick, 100 Cavity with Insulation, 100 Block, 25 Stud & 12.5 Plasterboard. I have created the wall and can close the cavity internally with a block but when I add the Stud & Plasterboard I can only have the Plasterboard wrapping. Please see a jpg with what I am trying to achieve and a .rvt file with the wall I created so far. Do I need to create the wrapping in a Door or Window Family? I appreciate any help. Thanks Peter

I have developed this some more but my plasterboard is wrapping to far. I tried creating two Void Extrusions but it didn't work. Can I wrap the plasterboard seperately from the Block so it only wraps 100mm and have the block wrap 125mm? I have a Wall Closure set to 125mm created in the Door Family which controls both the Block & the Plasterboard. Any input is much appreciated. Peter

In Revit you can effectively only have 1 wrap at inserts location. Whilst you could technically achieve what you're after by replacing the opening in the door family with a void, then design the void/s to the appropriate shape to have them cut the wall including the plasterboard that is wrapping to far - I wouldn't recommend it. Personally I'd set the wall closure point to where you have the plasterboard at and then at the appropriate detail level (say 1:20 plan section or more detailed) use detail components and filled regions to set out and detail the desired requirement. In most 1:100 or even 1:50 floor plans you aren't really going to pick up the layer wrapping issues... HTH.

The Cut Profile Tool worked fine. Would be tedious to do every door and window though but at least it's a solution.
