Can anyone offer advise on rendering a fabric material to have translucent properties? I see that you can edit the transparency and translucency but I am still not getting the results I need. I am trying to render a fabric that is tranparent to enough to allow light to pass through but not so transparent that it is clear.

Have you tried applying the material as "Glass" and add the color and transparency that way? I know you are looking for fabric material, but if you may be able to get the desired look to it that you are wanting.
