I just noticed this when loading my door family into a project (see image (the rectangle that is beyond the wall)) - does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it (sounds like I'm describing an STD, haha) Some info about the door... panels are nested, they are the same family (different types), happens for all types, sidelights are nested too. Thanks

You will have to post the family but I bet it is one of your nested families.

I got it... When looking at the size of ominous gray box I noticed its relationship to the opening size - it was the two check boxes in the dialog bar (Opening Transparent In: Elevation, 3d)... I didn't have those turned on. Thanks.
