We have two users working in seperate worksets (ex, slabs and columns). Even when one user is working in the slabs workset, Revit 2010 will not always allow editing in the columns workset without having the other user syncronize with central, relinquish all theirs, and the other reloads latest. Nobody has ownership of the worksets, and REVIT is running very slowly. Is there a way to fix this issue?

If your worksets are set-up correctly- all slabs are assigned to the slab workset, and all columns are assigned to the columns workset- here's an idea: Open only the worksets required for your work. In this case, the other information is not ever loaded, and cannot be accidentaly owned or borrowed. On the Open button there is a small pull-down- you can specifiy which worksets you will open. Also, if you have large projects in which users will be assigned specific tasks- take the time to think about how you would like to break work-sets up.
