I am working on a school for the technology group and have created a new family for speakers. I place the item on the first floor of the model and everything works fine. I then tried to copy and paste the speaker on the second floor and i only get the annotation showing up in plan. I have also tried to place a new speaker and reload the family and i still only get the annotation to show up in plan on the second floor. I have changed the view to wireframe and they are there. i have checked parameters both to the first floor speakers and also to items which correctly show up on the second floor and nothing appears to be wrong. The items show correctly in section and also has the correct coordinates for the second floor in the correct spot! Suggestions anyone?

Make a view template from the correct level and apply that to the second and see what happens.
