I just noticed I lost the section annotation in plan and all other views.  I checked view graphics and it says they are on, I checked whats hidden and its not there, and I right clicked the sections (2) in the project browser and selected find refering views and it says it cannot find one.  The sections are still there in the project browser and I'm able to view them and place on a sheet but the section lines are nowhere to be seen.  Any idea what could have caused it or a way to recover the section cuts.

Check the scale of your drawing. You might have a section annotation setting that if the drawing is at a scale less than, say, 1/8", the annotation dissapears. Change the drawing to a larger scale just to see if they re-appear, then select the section (if  you can see it) and go to element properties. There is an option that says "Hide at scales smaller than ___" .

Also, have you been adjusting the section discipline properties? If you set the section to be 'structural', it will not show up in your 'architectural' plans This can actually be quite helpful once youre aware of

Hope this helps
