Hey guys

Probably something simple but masking regions on my ground floor plan will not mask or blank out objects.  The option is working fine on other floor plans and detail views etc.  I have tried bringing the region to the front etc but it just doesnt seem to work.

Any Ideas?

Cheers

First make sure it is a masking, not a filled region.  Masking regions will not cover annotative data, even in linked files.

Yea its defiantly masking... was reading there that you could do a solid fill region to blank out the offending lines etc. Is there any down sides to this method?

Cheers

In any and all views, PROJECT masking regions will mask all model elements.  Draw order will allow masking regions to interact with other detail components but not model.

Masking regions in families use different rules and you can read those rules under "Adding a Masking Region to a Model Family" in your HELP.

Check to make sure the view is not set to wireframe.
